Our Client is a Western European producer operating in the paper converting industry, with the production facilities in several European countries as well as outside Europe. The group has been known for long for its highly innovative products, outstanding technical expertise and exceptional service. At present our client is about to open a greenfield production facility in Wroclaw. The first phase of the production plant will have the area of about 10 thousand m2, and up to 40 people will be initially employed. Due to this we are now looking for qualified and committed professional candidates, to take up the position of: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT Chief Accountant will commit overall responsibility for the financial accounting and key reporting to the group of the newly created manufacturing unit in Wroclaw. The function will report to the Plant Director and will include management of a small financial team. Professional guidance and training will be offered by the group HQ. For the right person there will be possibilities to take even bigger responsibilies in the future. Job description: -Creation of the accounting function General Ledger Accounting -Responsibility for the statutory Polish accounting and the Group financial reporting -Investments and asset accounting and reporting -Taxation and other mandatory reporting to authorities -Monthend, quarter interim and year end closing -Cooperation with the group HQ, including work with treasury department Your profile: We are searching for a person with a very strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislation, able to work independently and follow corporate routines as well as to serve efficiently all stakeholders, in particular with: -Several years of experience in leading an accounting team in a production unit -Strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislation, including investment and asset accounting -Ability to work build according to systematical routines and to actively search for improvement possibilities -Ability to lead a small finance team and to see future challenges and possibilities to develop as something positive -Experience in work with the common IT-tools of today, SAP experience would be an asset -Relevant University degree, Licence of the Ministry of Finance will be a plus -English skills that enable to work in international environment on a daily basis are a must Our Client provides you a challenging position in a developing organization with a possibility to learn from an international environment.
